Maharashtra on Friday saw a drop in Omicron cases as only 4 new cases of Omicron Variant were reported. One each from Vasai Virar, Navi Mumbai, Meera Bhainder & Panvel taking the total tally to 450 which is still heights in the country.

Meanwhile, with 162 new cases India’s Omicron tally rise to 1,432, from 1,270. A total of 488 persons have been recovered till date.
Maharashtra on Friday recorded 8,067 new cases taking the state tally of COVID19 positive patients is now 66,78,821.
Out of the total 1432 cases Maharashtra has the highest number of Omicron cases followed by Delhi 351 cases being reported till date with 57 patients already recovered. Tamil Nadu 118, Gujarat 115, Kerala 109.

India registered 22,775 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours.
The Active caseload currently stands at 1,04,781. Recovery Rate currently at 98.32%.
8,949 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours increases Total Recoveries to3,42,75,312. 145.16cr vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. The Daily positivity rate of country stands at 2.05%, while Weekly Positivity Rate (1.10%).
