Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, had ordered that illegal advertisement hoardings be removed from all areas of the city. In the NMC House, this directive was issued. Similarly, Rajendra Sonkusre, the chairperson of the construction committee, had issued same instructions to the NMC administration. However, the administration has not taken any action in this regard. Now the Sonkusare has asked the municipal commis sioner Radhakrishnan B to take action in this regard.
In the review meet ing of the committee, the concerned officials were asked to take action on the illegal advertisement boards and submit a report within 7 days. However, the administra tion has not taken any action in this regard.
