The Supreme Court had directed the State Government to work out on vacant seats for the reserved classes. The Court has not given any verdict on the case of reservation in promotion. The decision can be taken based on the statistics, the State has to collect.

On Friday the Supreme Court has directed the State Government to collect the information about vacancies of posts under reserved category. Based on the statistics, the court can decide in favour of reservation in promotion or otherwise.
