58 fresh COVID-19 cases, 1008 active in Nagpur district

As far as novel coronavirus pandemic is concerned, the situation is improving in Nagpur District as the recovery rate recorded on Tuesday was over 98.04%.

The improvement in the recovery rate can be attributed to fall in single day COVID-19 positive cases. Also, the district continues to record drop in fatality cases. On Tuesday only one death due to the coronavirus was witnessed that was from the city.

On Tuesday, the district recorded recovery rate of 98.04%. With fall in number of active cases, the total number of cases in the district stood at 1,008.

Nagpur district reported 58 single-day COVID-19 cases. Of the single-day cases, ten persons getting infected with the infection are not residents of the district. Nagpur rural has registered 13 new cases while 35 persons tested positive for the coronavirus in city. With this update the number of cumulative cases reached 5,77,217. Of the total cumulative cases, 9,903 are of those who are not residents of the district.

On Tuesday, the district witnessed COVID-19 recovery of 162 taking the cumulative recovery to 5,65,876. The cumulative of deaths is 10333.

COVID 19 testing in Nagpur district on Tuesday was 7,478. Nagpur rural reported 1438 testing while city recorded 6040 testing.
