During The Big Billion Days 2021, Flipkart’s Grocery category witnessed purchases by first-time customers from around 200 new cities and towns. Overall, the category saw a 2.3x growth in orders as compared to the previous year. Flipkart ensures stringent quality control, over and above the mandatory checks, across its fulfilment centers and Grocery supply chains. The company’s Grocery fulfilment centers have fully digitized processes, including for quality check, as well as a quality management system to ensure that products are traceable right from the raw-material stage to the time they reach the consumer.
