Dishank Bajaj Stood 8th In National Sub Junior Delhi

Shraddha Bajaj,Saksham Singh and Dishank Bajaj recently participated in the MPL 46th National Sub-Junior (Under-16) Open Chess Championship 2022 and

MPL 37th National Sub-Junior (Under-16) Girls Chess Championship 2022 held at New Delhi from 04/03/2022 to 08/03/2022. The tournament was conducted by the Delhi Chess Association. The Nagpur players showed their skills in the event with some special performances.

Dishank Bajaj stood 8th in the overall tally among the strong field. Shraddha Bajaj started the campaign with a bang by defeating third Seed Bhillva Nilaya of Andhra Pradesh in the first round itself. Saksham  Singh too excelled in the Championship.

Earlier the players from Nagpur namely Saksham Singh in Boys Group and Shraddha Bajaj and Vedika Pal in Girls Group qualified for participation in National Under 16 (Sub Junior) Chess Championship. With this exposure to the National Chess field the players are likely to improve their performances in the coming events
