The Maharashtra State (Under-8) Open & Girls Selection Chess Championship began from March 12 in Symbiosis Sports Centre, Pune.
Niranjan Godbole Secretary, MCA, Dr. Satish Thigale (Director, Symbiosis Sports Centre), Siddharth Mayur (Working President, MCA), GM. Abhijeet Kunte (Sr. Vice President, MCA), Chandrakant Mokashi, Treasurer, PDCC), Ankush Raktade (Jt. Secretary, MCA) were present for the opening ceremony of the tournament.
More than 200 participants have participated in the tournament.
