Rajnath Singh, the Defence Minister, advised all stakeholders to focus on becoming ‘Atma Nirbhar’ (self reliant) in defence technology while keeping pace with technology outside.
Soon after his arrival at Nagpur airport on Sunday morning, Air Marshal Shashiker Chaudhary, AOC-in-C Maintenance command, and other dignitaries from Civil and Military welcomed him.
Singh interacted with defence stakeholders at the airport. He was briefed about various activities undertaken by Defence establishments, which included Army, IAF and Defence PSUs in this region.
The Defence Minister also asked Commanders to follow the correct maintenance and operational practices with safety of personnel in mind., informed Wg Cdr Ratnakar Singh, Defence PRO.
