On Friday, India reported a slight decrease in COVID-19 cases. In the past 24 hours, 17,070 instances in total have been reported. While the number of active cases rose by 2,634. According to data from the Union Ministry of Health, India reported 23 deaths as a result of the respirator infection and 14,413 recoveries in a 24-hour period. While 4.28 crore people have recovered from the illness, coronavirus has caused 5,25,139 deaths to date.
The optimism rate for the day is 3.40 percent, while the positivity rate for the week is 3.59 percent.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of coronavirus cases is rising nearly everywhere in the world. The UN health agency said that COVID cases rose by 18% in the last week, with more than 4.1 million cases reported globally.
The biggest weekly rise in new COVIDÂ was seen in the Middle East, where they increased by 47%, according to the report released late Wednesday.
