The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has extended the last date for registration under the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for first-year MBA and MMS admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. Eligible candidates can now complete their registration until 5 pm on July 19.
The CET Cell has also announced the detailed admission schedule. As per the revised timeline, the first round of CAP counselling will commence on July 28, while the admission process for MBA and MMS programmes is scheduled to conclude on September 15. Candidates who appeared for the Maharashtra MBA/MMS CET held in April and May have been urged to complete their online registration without delay.
The response to the admission process has been higher than last year. According to the CET Cell, 65,316 candidates have registered so far, compared with 59,456 registrations during the 2025-26 admission cycle. To participate in the admission process, candidates must complete online registration, upload the required documents and select either the E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny mode for document verification.
Applicants opting for E-Scrutiny can complete document verification and application confirmation online, eliminating the need to visit a facilitation centre. Those choosing Physical Scrutiny must visit the designated scrutiny centre for verification of their documents.
Candidates have been advised to regularly visit the Maharashtra CET Cell’s official website for the latest admission schedule, notifications and updates.
