A late-night police raid on a hookah parlour in Sadar led to the booking of nine persons, including the establishment’s owner, a waiter and seven customers, for allegedly serving and consuming banned tobacco-based hookah.
The action was carried out in the early hours of Friday at Downtown Cafe, located in Buti Compound on Mount Road, following a tip-off received by Sadar Police around 2 am about illegal hookah being served at the premises.
