Kanthamaneni Uma Maheshwari, daughter of former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N T Rama Rao committed suicide on Monday afternoon.
Uma was the youngest of the 12 children of NTR. She was found hanging at her residence. Although the reason for Uma resorting to the extreme step is not known, she was under depression due to health issues. The body was sent for autopsy. Further investigations are in progress.
