With the Government of India removing conditions on air fare, the passengers are likely to benefit during lean periods. The ticket rates may be slashed during the off season. At the same time the flight operators may charge heavily during the peak season.
The cap on minimum and maximum fare will be removed from August 31.
The flight operating companies will have to finalise the fare for 15 days. Booking in advance, around 15 days, could be beneficial for the passengers. High cost of fuel can also affect the air fare.
