Former Maharashtra Minister Anil Deshmukh fainted in the jail and was admitted to a hospital on Friday.
Deshmukh reported of chest pain and after preliminary investigation in the jail was referred to a hospital.
Deshmukh’s parameters on blood pressure are reported to be on the higher side.
The ECG report is also not normal. Further investigations are on Deshmukh is in jail since November 1, when he was arrested in money laundering case. Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Pram Bir Singh and a police officer Sanjay Waze alleged him of collecting Rs 100 crore from liquor shops and bars in Mumbai.
