Mohammad Faiz was announced as the winner of the kids’ singing reality television show, Superstar Singer 2 . The 14-year-old contestant belongs to Rajasthan’s Jodhpur.
Along with the trophy, Faiz also took home a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh. He was competing with five other finalists in the grand finale including Mani, Pranjal Biswas, Aryananda R Babu, Rituraj, and Sayisha Gupta. Mani was declared as the first runner-up in Mani while Sayisha Gupta emerged as the second runner-up. Mani also won a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh. Each of the top six finalists also received a one-year subscription from Byju’s classes and a one-year supply of cheese from Go Cheese.
After the win, Faiz also took to Twitter to thank the team, judges, and his fans and for being there in his journey. He shared a long note and wrote, “Thank you so much the whole team of Superstar Singer 2, Me aap sabhi ka bohot aabhari hu, aap sab se itna kuch seekhne ko mila,aap sabhi ne itna pyar diya, yaha mujhe itni achi family mili, itne pyare dost mile, itne ache judges and captains and Adi bhaiya, aur sabse ache music coach mile jinko me kitna bhi dhanyawad kahu kam hi hai.”
Superstar Singer 2 was judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Alka Yagnik, and Javed Ali. The show was hosted by Aditya Narayan.
For the grand finale episode, Padmini Kolhapure, Poonam Dhillon, and music maestro Anand graced the show as the special judges. Comedian Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa also entertained in the final episode.
For the unversed, Faiz has earlier participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs in 2019 and Love Me India Kid in 2018.
