YMCA Nagpur is organizing its “Under 16 Inter School Football Tournament 2022” from 20th September 2022 to 06th October 2022. It will be the 28th Edition for Boys and 1st Edition for Girls. 64 schools for Boys and 16 schools for Girls from in and around Nagpur City will be participating in this Knock-out basis tournament.
Shri Sanjay Purandhare, Dy. Supt. Of Police (Home), Nagpur Gramin Police, will inaugurate the Boys Tournament and Mr. Rohit Macwan, President, YMCA Nagpur will be inaugurating the Girls Tournament.
The inaugural match for boys will be played between ‘SFS School of Excellence’ and ‘Bishop Cotton School, Dharampeth’ at 09:00 AM on 20-09-2022. The inaugural match for girls will be played between ‘Delhi Public School, Mihan’ and ‘SFS English School, Nimkheda’ at 11:30 AM on 20-09-2022.
The 64 teams of Boys Tournament are distributed into Four Groups (A, B, C, & D). The Semifinals between the four qualifying teams, one from each group, will be played as “A v/s C” and “B v/s D”. The Semifinal and Final matches will be played on 06th October 2022.
Rs.10,000/- and Rs.7,500/- case prizes (boys & girls) will be awarded to the Winners and Runners-up Teams respectively along with Trophies. Five individual prizes will also be awarded. Certificates will be issued to each and every player of the tournament.
All the matches will be played on Nagpur Gramin Police Ground, Sahayog Nagar, Nagpur.
