A restriction on buying non-subsidised domestic LPG cylinders has been imposed. The registered customer will be able to buy only 15 cylinders in a year. The monthly limit is two cylinders.
Earlier the customer not availing subsidy was able toll buy any number of cylinders. The limit for the customers availing subsidy is the same at 12 cylinders in a year. Beyond 12 the customer will have to buy the cylinder at the rate of non-subsidised cylinder.
The restrictions have been imposed following a large number of complaints lodged by the customers..
