In Kannur, Kerala, a 6-year-old boy was violently kicked for leaning on a car a guy was arrested

A disturbing incident involving a guy mercilessly kicking a young boy as he touched his car has been reported from Kerala’s Kannur district.

The accused verbally assaulted and kicked the 6-year-old youngster when he was merely leaning against the automobile.

The horrifying occurrence happened on Thursday night at Thalassery Town in Kannur, next to the road. Mohammed Shihshad has been named as the suspect.

Car owner’s allegations

People went to the youngster’s aid and confronted the automobile owner while the accused kicked and beat the boy. However, the accused asserted that the youngster tried to open the automobile door.

The traffic junction’s CCT camera captured the full course of events. The automobile owner’s assertion that the youngster was attempting to open the door was refuted, according to the CCTV evidence. The young youngster, however, was only kicked for leaning against the vehicle.

Police refused to register FIR and tried to protect the perpetrator. It was the natives who took the child to the hospital. This incident shook the conscience of the Keralites. Stringent action should be taken against the police officers who tried to downplay the issue. pic.twitter.com/xJwFJAQmZh

What CCTV video reveals

The youngster is seen leaning against the parked automobile in the footage, then all of a sudden, a man enters the car and kicks the victim. The infant was afterwards taken to the hospital by locals. The internet community has reacted angrily to this occurrence, calling for harsh punishment for the perpetrators and the police officials who are accused of trying to minimise it. Later, Thalassery police detained the car’s owner.

The individual has been accused of attempted murder and other related IPC provisions. According to sources, police originally attempted to assist the accused by putting him on minor offences. Police had to make the arrest on Friday morning, though, after the CCTV tape went viral.
