With participants from over 63 countries, Koushal’s win is indeed prestigious and a reason for revelry. Koushal beat Mrs Polynesia to secure the title. The beauty queen is originally from Jammu and Kashmir and worked as a teacher in Vizag. Her husband works for the Indian Navy.

The official Instagram account of Mrs India pageant shared photos of a jubilant Koushal after her historic win. “The long wait is over, it’s after 21 years we have the CROWN back!” read the caption.

Koushal wore a sleek and elegant pink sleeveless gown studded with sequins for the grand finale. Designed by Bhawna Rao, the gown perfectly complimented Koushal’s toned silhouette. The Mrs India page also shared the priceless winning and crowning moment of Sargam Koushal.

The last time an Indian won the Mrs World title was in 2001. Dr Aditi Govitrikar was crowned Mrs World and she has served as a judge for Mrs India Inc 2022-23.
