Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Jayant Patil has been suspended for using derogatory words against the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly. Patil’s suspension is for the ongoing winter session. Leader of Opposition and NCP leader Ajit Patil apologised on behalf of Patil.
The issue relating to Disha Salian was being discussed in the House. The Opposition members alleged that they were not allowed to speak on the issue. Speaker Rahul Narvekar denied the opportunity to speak on the issue, during a heated discussion on the issue.
As the Opposition targeted Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and continued staging demonstrations on Thursday in front of Vidhan Bhavan, in the House fresh enquiry into the deaths of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian was raised. The treasury benches targeted Aditya Thackeray in this case.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced an investigation into Disha Salian’s death by suicide through SIT. Disha’s death is alleged to be a murder and not suicide. Nitesh Rane and Bharat Gogawale have alleged a connection with Aditya Thackeray in the case.
