FLAG OFF Ceremony of RUN NEETI – An Intercollegiate Cricket Tournament

Dada Ramchand Bakhru Sindhu Mahavidyalaya Nagpur organised an intercollegiate Cricket Tournament “RUN NEETI” at Jhulelal Institute of Technology Nagpur and Taywade College Nagpur.

The tournament was flagged off respectively on both the grounds at the hands of Dr V M Pendsey, Offi Principal, DRBSMV, Dr S V Tewani, Dr A G Thadani, and Dr Milind Shindkede, Vice Principals, DRBSMV, Dr Ramchandra Rao, HOD Physical Education Department, Dr Upendra Varma marked their honored presence during the function.

Around 30 teams all over the city have participated in the tournament. The match fixtures were released and on Day 1 at JIT Ground first match was played between Jyotiba College of Physical Education, Nagpur Vs Centre Point College Nagpur.

Team CPC won the toss and choose to field who won the game by 6 wickets by scoring 201 runs in 19.3 over the loss of 4 wickets against the score set by team Jyotiba College of 200 runs in 20 overs over the loss of 6 wickets. On the same day at Taywade Ground first match was played between Hislop College, Nagpur Vs Prerna College Nagpur.

Team Hislop won the toss and choose to bat who won the game by 24 runs by setting a score of 152 runs in 20 over with the loss of 6 wickets against the score achieved by team Prerna  College of 128 runs in 20 overs over the loss of 8 wickets.

The second match was played between Team A G College, Nagpur and Team Dhanwate National College where Team DNC won the toss and choose to field. Here team AG scored 168 runs in 16 over with a loss of 6 wickets against team DNC who scored 127 runs in 16 over with the loss of 4 wickets. Team AG college won the match.
