KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty tied knot on January 23, 2023 at Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse in an intimate yet lavish ceremony. Since then, the couple has shared the first pictures from the wedding ceremonies on their social media accounts. In the first collection of photos, the couple appeared to be relishing this new stage in their relationship.
Later on Monday night, the couple shared a glimpse of the stunning wedding on Instagram. In the romantic pictures that they shared, the couple looked beautiful. Rahul looked majestic in his white sherwani, while Athiya looked stunning in a delicate pink lehenga. The photo caption read, “In your light, I learn how to love… ♥️. Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness (sic).”
Before making their relationship public on social media, Suniel Shetty’s daughter, actor Athiya Shetty, and Indian cricketer KL Rahul dated for a number of years. According to rumours, the two connected through a mutual friend and have been together ever since. In reality, Athiya has recently gone on a tour with her partner to watch him compete in several matches.
Athiya’s father Suniel Shetty has confirmed that the couple will soon say “I do,” but that it will be a small ceremony because they prefer to keep things quiet and low-key. For a long time, the couple had rejected rumours about their planned wedding.
There was reportedly a no-phone rule at the wedding, and the attendees were asked not to share pictures and videos of the ceremony online. Suniel informed the photographers the day before the big day that they would be able to snap pictures of the newlyweds when the rites were complete.
While KL Rahul is a popular Indian cricketer, Athiya Shetty has been seen in a handful of films since she made her debut with the 2015 Sooraj Pancholi movie Hero. Athiya was last seen in the 2019 release Motichoor Chaknachoor alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
