Nagpur’s renowned badminton coach Ajay Dayal, has been appointed as the coach of Senior Maharashtra team by the Badminton Association of India.
The team will participate in Yonex-Sunrise 75th Inter-State Inter- Zonal and 84th Senior National Badminton Championships that get under way at Pune from February 24.
“I have ready done assignments with Badminton Association of India three times — first in Sr World Championship in 2017; then in at Junior India Camp in Bangalore in 2018 and third one in Asian Badminton Championship in 2019 Indonesia. I am also a certified coach of OGQ,” informed Dayal adding, “Mangesh Kashikar
(Secretary of Nagpur District Badminton Association) is manager of the State team.”
