The ‘Yoga Mahotsav’ at Telangana’s NCC Parade Ground saw an impressive gathering of 50,000 yoga enthusiasts. Organized by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), the event marked the 25-day countdown to the International Day of Yoga. Dignitaries including the Honourable Governor of Telangana, Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, and Union Ministers Sarbananda Sonowal, G Kishan Reddy, and Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai graced the occasion. Notable personalities like Pullela Gopichand and cine actors Sree Leela, Vishwaksen, and Krishna Chaitanya were also present. The event showcased the Common Yoga Protocol, with Dr. Soundararajan highlighting the happiness, health, and beauty that yoga brings. Union Minister Sonowal praised the global impact of yoga, while Minister Reddy urged regular practice. The event served as a platform to promote wellness and prepare for the International Day of Yoga.
