Apple has unveiled its latest addition to the MacBook Air lineup, claiming it to be the world’s thinnest 15-inch laptop, measuring a remarkable 11.5mm in thickness. The new model claims to have a battery life of up to 18 hours on a single charge.
The new MacBook Air features a 15.3-inch display and is powered by the same M2 chip found in its 13.6-inch counterpart. Boasting 8 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores, the M2 chip enables improved computational and graphical performance. It can be configured with up to 24GB of RAM and a maximum storage capacity of 2 TB.
While retaining essential features like the headphone jack, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, and MagSafe, the larger MacBook Air introduces new colour options, including Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and Space Grey. The design remains consistent with its 13-inch counterpart, ensuring a seamless user experience across the MacBook Air range.
Priced at Rs. 1,34,900, the 15-inch MacBook Air comes equipped with a powerful M2 processor. However, the laptop will be available at a reduced starting price of Rs. 1,24,900 for educational purposes. Customers can now place their orders on apple.com/in/store, and deliveries will begin on Tuesday, June 13th, with availability in Apple Store outlets and Authorized Resellers.
