Bhajanlal Sharma is the next Chief Minister of Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced on Tuesday. He won the recently concluded elections from the Sanganer assembly seat, with over 1,45,000 votes, defeating Congress’s Pushpendra Bhardwaj.
Bhajanlal Sharma’s name as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan was announced by BJP’s Vasundhara Raje, whose name was also among contenders for the top post.
Gajendra Shekhawat, Mahant Balaknath, Diya Kumari, Anita Bhadel, Manju Baghmar and Arjun Ram Meghwal, were some other names in the list of contenders.
