Nagpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate 10 new Vande Bharat trains on September 15, in a significant step towards enhancing regional connectivity across India. The event, to be held in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, will mark the first time that 10 Vande Bharat trains are launched simultaneously, improving transportation infrastructure in several key regions.
Among the 10 trains, the Pune-Nagpur Vande Bharat service is expected to be a major boost for Maharashtra. It will provide faster, more convenient travel between the two important cities, reducing travel time and offering a modern, comfortable travel experience.
Vande Bharat Train Routes:
1. Tatanagar-Patna: Connecting Jharkhand and Bihar, this train will stop at Ranchi, Bokaro, and Gaya.
2. Varanasi-Deoghar: Enhancing connectivity between Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand with stops in Dhanbad, Asansol, and Jasidih.
3. Tatanagar-Brahmapur: Linking Jharkhand and Odisha, this train will stop at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Balasore.
4. Ranchi-Godda: Connecting Ranchi to Godda via Dumka, Deoghar, and Bhagalpur.
5. Agra-Banaras: Serving Uttar Pradesh, this train will stop at Kanpur, Lucknow, and Prayagraj.
6. Howrah-Gaya: Providing better connectivity between West Bengal and Bihar with stops at Dhanbad and Asansol.
7. Howrah-Bhagalpur: Connecting West Bengal and Bihar with stops at Bardhaman, Sahibganj, and Malda Town.
8. Durg-Visakhapatnam: Linking Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh, this train will pass through Raipur, Bilaspur, and Koraput.
9. Hubli-Secunderabad: Improving travel between Karnataka and Telangana with stops at Raichur, Kurnool, and Anantapur.
10. Pune-Nagpur: A key route for Maharashtra, this train will significantly cut down travel time between Pune and Nagpur.
