The Nagpur Crime Branch Unit 3 has arrested a man involved in multiple thefts, including a temple burglary and vehicle theft, solving three cases.
On September 15, 2024, between 12:50 AM and 5:00 AM, the accused broke into Sai Mandir in Suryanagar and stole brass items worth ?9,200. Based on a complaint, Kalamna Police registered a case.
Crime Branch Unit 3, acting on a tip-off, arrested Irfan Ansari (23), who confessed to the temple theft, assisted by Naina Meshram. He also admitted to stealing a Splendor bike worth ?55,000 from Ambazari. Police recovered all stolen items, totaling ?1,00,000 in value.
The accused has been handed over to Kalamna Police for further investigation.
The operation was conducted under the guidance of senior Nagpur Police officers.
