Under the Higher and Technical Education Department of the Maharashtra Government, two Student Counselling and Guidance Extension Centres have been established in Nagpur city to assist candidates appearing for the State Common Entrance Test (State CET). Both centres have been operational since June 1.
The extension centres are located at Government Engineering College, Khapri, and K.D.K. College, Nandanvan.
The centres provide free counselling and guidance to students on all aspects of the State CET, including the examination process, CET portal, CAP rounds, admissions and other related procedures. Candidates facing technical issues while applying for or participating in the admission process for any professional course can also seek assistance at these centres.
The centres function from 10 am to 5 pm on all working days and will also remain open on Saturdays. Students visiting the centres will receive one-on-one guidance and counselling from trained officials to help resolve their queries and technical problems.
Appealing to students to make use of the facility, Prabhakar Harde, District Nodal Officer of the State CET Extension Centre at K.D.K. College, Nandanvan, urged candidates from Nagpur district to visit either of the two centres, depending on their convenience, and seek assistance with admission-related issues.
