The National Federation of the Blind, Vidarbha Unit, Nagpur, has proudly commenced a three-day Visionary Cricket Tournament for the Blind at the Sharad Bhake Cricket Academy, Vidya Vihar Colony, behind Bank of India, Pratap Nagar, Nagpur. The event was inaugurated by esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Atul Padikar (Bank of Maharashtra), Mr. Suresh Bobate (General Secretary, Staff Union, Bank of India), Mrs. Kavita Taware, and Mr. Desai.
The dignitaries marked the occasion by playing the ceremonial first ball, signifying the beginning of this unique sporting event.
Participants from Across Maharashtra
Teams representing various regions of Maharashtra—Nagpur, Vidarbha, Amravati, Washim, Akola, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Pune, and Rest of Maharashtra—are competing in this prestigious tournament. The National Federation of the Blind has made complimentary arrangements for all participating players, including accommodation and meals, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
