The National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate medical courses in pen-and-paper mode. According to a notification, the exam will take place on a single day and in one shift.
The notification also stated that NEET (UG) will be used for admission to undergraduate courses in BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS across all medical institutions. Additionally, NEET (UG) will be applicable for admission to the BHMS course under the National Commission for Homeopathy.
Additionally, aspirants for the Military Nursing Service (MNS) seeking admission to BSc Nursing courses at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals in 2025 must qualify for NEET (UG). The NEET (UG) scores will be used to shortlist candidates for selection to the four-year BSc Nursing course.
Meanwhile, the NTA has urged NEET aspirants to update their Aadhaar details.
To facilitate the integration of APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) with NEET UG 2025, candidates are encouraged to use their APAAR ID along with Aadhaar-based authentication during the application and examination process.
The NTA, while advising candidates to update their Aadhaar details, stated that updated credentials are recommended to streamline the verification and registration process, as well as to enhance the integrity of the examination. The NEET UG 2025 registration process will begin in due course.
