Fulfilling the spiritual aspiration of visiting India’s sacred pilgrimage sites in one journey, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced a special 17-day Chardham Yatra aboard the fully air-conditioned Bharat Gaurav Deluxe Train.
Set to begin on May 27 from Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station, the journey will take devotees across the length and breadth of the country, offering darshan at Badrinath (North), Jagannath Puri (East), Rameswaram (South), and Dwarka (West)—the four major Dhams revered by Hindus.
Apart from these four principal pilgrimage sites, the itinerary includes visits to several significant religious and tourist destinations such as Mana village, Narsingh Temple, Joshimath, Rishikesh, Konark Sun Temple, Chandrabhaga Beach, Ramanathaswamy Temple, Dhanushkodi, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, and the sacred Dwarkadhish Temple.
The initiative is aimed at providing a seamless spiritual experience for devotees who may otherwise find it challenging to undertake such an extensive pilgrimage due to logistical constraints.
