International pop star Akon will perform live in Delhi this November, marking his return to the Indian music scene.
The concert, scheduled for November 9, is being organised by White Fox in collaboration with Percept Live. Akon, known for chartbusters like ‘Chammak Challo’, is expected to draw huge crowds for what promises to be a high-energy musical evening.
After his Delhi concert on November 9, global pop icon Akon will head to Bengaluru on November 14, followed by a show in Mumbai on November 16.
The tour, one of the most anticipated music events of the year, is already generating massive buzz. Tickets will be available exclusively on Distrito by Zomato. HSBC cardholders will get early access starting August 8 at 1 PM, while general ticket sales begin on August 10 at 10 PM.
Expressing his excitement about the India tour, Akon said, “The energy, the culture, the fans… it’s on another level. I’m beyond excited to be back and perform live for y’all. This tour is gonna be something special — let’s make history together!”
Organisers say fans can expect an unforgettable musical journey from “Right Now (Na Na Na)” to “Don’t Matter.”
White Fox co-founder Aman Kumar called the tour “a celebration,” adding, “This is the night fans have been waiting for. We promise an extravagant experience that will be remembered for years to come.”
Adding to the excitement, Grammy-winner Enrique Iglesias is also set to perform in Mumbai later this year, returning to India after 13 years. In recent times, the country has hosted international names like Coldplay, Guns N’ Roses, Maroon 5, Bryan Adams, and Dua Lipa.
