Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has initiated admissions for its new three-year B.Com (Corporate Administration) program, aimed at integrating academics with industry needs. This is the first time RTMNU is introducing a degree course that directly connects classroom learning with corporate applications.
The Postgraduate Commerce Department is offering this industry-linked program under the Apprenticeship Embedded Education System (AEDP), aligning with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). A recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between RTMNU and the MIDC Industries Association (MIA) has paved the way for this initiative.
The course will admit 40 students, and eligibility includes completion of 12th grade from any stream. Students holding a Polytechnic Engineering Diploma are also qualified to apply. The multi-level degree system under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will award a certificate after the first year, a diploma after the second year, and a full degree after the third year.
Focused on Corporate Administration, the curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on industrial training, providing students with practical exposure to office and corporate management operations
