The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun the application process for private candidates appearing in the Class 12 examinations scheduled for February–April 2026.
Applications can be submitted online through the “Private Candidates” link on the CBSE’s official website starting September 9, 2025. Both the application form and fee will be accepted only through online mode.
The board has advised candidates to fill in all details carefully, as any incorrect information or invalid documents will lead to cancellation of the application and forfeiture of the fee. It has also clarified that the examination centre selected in the online form will be treated as final.
