In a significant move to boost the development of Vidarbha and particularly Nagpur district, a high-level meeting was held on Thursday in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. During the meeting, Adani Group and Reliance Industries announced major investments in the region, expected to accelerate industrial growth and create large-scale employment opportunities.
According to Chief Minister Fadnavis, Adani Group will invest ₹70,000 crore in Vidarbha. While the specific sectors for this investment have not yet been disclosed, the announcement is expected to generate massive job opportunities and strengthen the region’s industrial base.
Similarly, Reliance Industries has announced plans to set up a food park in Katol, Nagpur district, with an investment of ₹1,500 crore. The food park is expected to benefit the agriculture sector by providing farmers with better market access and fair value for their produce.
CM Fadnavis expressed confidence that these investments would help create a vibrant industrial ecosystem in Vidarbha, ensuring economic growth and employment for the region’s youth.
