VADODARA: Traffic near Sursagar Lake came to a halt after a woman staged an unusual roadblock, claiming she was cheated out of two golgappas by a local vendor.
The woman alleged that despite paying ₹20, she was served only four puris instead of the six she expected. Upset over what she described as an unfair deal, she sat down in the middle of the road, demanding her “rightful two puris” before moving.
The bizarre protest drew curious onlookers, many of whom recorded the scene on their phones as vehicles carefully navigated around her.
When police personnel reached the spot to ease the situation, the drama escalated further. The woman broke down in tears, urging the officers to ensure “justice” in the form of a complete serving of panipuri.
For hours, commuters faced delays while the debate over two missing puris played out in full public view. Eventually, police escorted the woman away, clearing the traffic. Whether her demand was ultimately met, however, remains uncertain.
