It’s that time of year again when fans of the Bollywood superstar gather outside his Bandstand residence, Mannat, eagerly awaiting his traditional birthday appearance. On Saturday, November 1, admirers who travelled from near and far reached the actor’s home, hoping to catch a glimpse of him at midnight.
Wearing T-shirts with his pictures and carrying posters and banners, fans reportedly began gathering outside Mannat hours before midnight. Videos from the scene showed an atmosphere filled with excitement as chants of “Shah Rukh Khan,” “Happy Birthday,” and loud cheers echoed outside his residence gates.
Fans await midnight appearance
Despite ongoing renovation work at the actor’s bungalow, the crowd showed no signs of dispersing, hoping to witness the superstar’s traditional midnight appearance. This year, the occasion holds added significance as Shah Rukh turns 60.
Fans and several fan clubs shared clips on social media showing the ongoing makeover at Mannat. While parts of the facade remain covered in scaffolding, SRK’s devoted admirers happily posed with the iconic gate sign. Another video showed workers in hard hats near the entrance, sparking speculation that Khan might still make his customary appearance.
In an ‘Ask SRK’ chat with fans, the actor teased his plans, tweeting, “Of course but may have to wear a hard hat!!!”
Farah Khan and Karan Johar head to Alibaug
Meanwhile, the actor’s close friends have travelled to Alibaug to celebrate his birthday at his beach house.
