Meet Khushi Yadav, daughter of Aarti Kumari Yadav and Samit Yadav, residents of Panvel, Navi Mumbai. Khushi is just 21 months old and is battling a rare genetic disorder — Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA Type 2).
She is currently under the care of Dr. Neelu Desai (M.D. Paediatrics) at P.D. Hinduja National Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Mumbai. Khushi urgently needs a life-saving gene therapy called Zolgensma (manufactured by Novartis, USA), which costs ₹9.5 crore. This treatment must be administered before she turns 2 years old.
Because the treatment is extremely expensive, Khushi’s family is seeking public support to help save her life. This is a heartfelt appeal to donate generously. She is racing against time and needs immediate treatment.
