Nagpur Division of Central Railway, which pioneered the “Restaurant on Coach” concept at Nagpur Railway Station in 2021, is now set to expand this unique model across four locations. New ventures will be introduced at Ajni Railway Colony, Wardha Railway Station, Pandhurna Railway Station and Betul Railway Station, offering an upgraded dining experience with enhanced facilities.
Developed using insights from the earlier project, these restaurants aim to provide a business-friendly environment for entrepreneurs and improved amenities for passengers and local residents. The assets will be offered through an e-auction on the IREPS portal, with dedicated space allotted for landscaping and aesthetic development to create an attractive, passenger-friendly ambience.

The ten-year contract period will enable entrepreneurs to invest confidently and ensure sustainable returns. All outlets will operate round the clock, offering hygienic, multi-cuisine food under strict quality standards of the Railway. Renowned regional food brands are also expected to participate, enhancing business potential.
This initiative promises mutual benefits- enhanced travel experience, increased revenue for the Railways, and significant direct and indirect employment opportunities- contributing to regional economic growth.
