With just hours to go before the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, excitement among fans has reached fever pitch. What began on August 24 with 18 contestants and stretched across more than 100 days has now boiled down to five finalists. On Sunday, December 7, they will gather one last time as Salman announces the winner of the season.
The big question remains: Who will lift the trophy and take home the prize money of Rs 50 lakh? The finalists — Gaurav Khanna, Pranit More, Farrhana Bhatt, Amaal Mallik, and Tanya Mittal — have all built strong followings, but only one will clinch the title.
As speculation intensifies across social media and fan communities, SCREEN conducted its own audience poll to gauge public sentiment. According to the survey, music composer and singer Amaal Mallik has emerged as the audience favourite to win Bigg Boss 19. Out of 5,623 total votes, Amaal claimed a commanding 42.6%, significantly ahead of his competitors.
In second place is entrepreneur and podcaster Tanya Mittal, who secured 25.8% of the votes. Actor Gaurav Khanna, known for his roles in shows like CID and Anupamaa, received 15.2%, while Laila Majnu actress Farrhana Bhatt and stand-up comic Pranit More tied with 16.4% each.
While the momentum appears to favour Amaal at the moment, Bigg Boss has a history of pulling off dramatic twists, meaning the final outcome will only be revealed when Salman Khan raises the winner’s hand on stage.
The Bigg Boss 19 grand finale will stream live on JioHotstar at 9 pm, and television viewers can catch the broadcast on Colors TV from 10.30 pm. Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday will also join the finale to promote their upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.
