Candidates from 38 – Anand Nitnaware, Pratibha Raut, Maheshwari Patle, from Prabhag 35 – Sandip Gavai, Puja Bhugaokar, Vishankah Mohod, Ramesh Bhandari,; candidates from Prabhag 36 – Amol Shyamkule, Maya Hade, Shivani Dane, and Ishwar Dhengle; candidates from Prabhag 28 – Vijay Zalke, Nanda Yeole, Neeta Thakre and Kiran Datir were present.
BJP Maharanagar President and former Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, General Secretary Ritesh Gawande, former Mayor Nanda Jichkar, former ZP Chief Sandhya Gotmare, Nitin Mahajan, Ex-Deputy Mayor Rajabhau Lokhande and others were present.
Gadkari recalled bringing development works like 24 hours water supply, cement roads, drainage, gardens, industries, AIIMS, IIIT brought to Nagpur during BJP’s tenure. Many pending projects which were on paper only were brought to Nagpur by BJP. He said that transparency was ensured through e-tendering, on-line services and direct transfer of benefits.
Nagpurians have experienced timely approval of developmental projects through cooprdiantion between the Centre and State Government. The successfully implemented projects include cleanliness drive, solid waste management system, slum development projects, facilities for the senior citizens, women and youth are due to hard work bu the corporators of the party and participation of the people, he said.
Determined leader, experienced corporators, vision of the administration and continuously engaged workers for the development of the city is formula of the party.
Gadkari appreciated the work of Diwe for development of municipal schools, through which quality education is extended to the children from economically and socially backward communities.
He appealed to the people to support BJP candidates for the development of the city.
