The third edition of ‘Advantage Vidarbha 2026 – Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav’, organised by the Association for Industrial Development (AID), will be held from February 6 to 8 at the University Campus on Ambazari Road. The three-day mega event aims to position Vidarbha as a strong and emerging growth hub on India’s industrial map. The theme of this year’s event is “Empowering Growth,”Union minister Nitin Gadkari said while addressing a press conference here on Sunday.
Ambassadors and trade representatives from nearly 20 countries, including Russia, China, Brazil, Egypt, Uruguay, Nigeria, Zambia, Venezuela, Togo, Guyana and Benin, will attend the event. More than 20 bilateral trade meetings with global investors will also be organised.A large industrial exhibition with over 350 stalls will be a major attraction.
This includes 100 MSME stalls and 40 district-level stalls representing various parts of Vidarbha. The expo will feature Defence Public Sector Units, SEBI, BSE, NSE, MCX, NCDEX, AMFI, MSE, NSDL, CDSL and other leading financial institutions.
Participation is also expected from Cian Agro, solar energy manufacturers and industries from sectors such as textiles, plastics, minerals, coal, aviation, logistics, IT, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, defence, real estate, renewable energy and startups. A dedicated patent gallery will also be showcased.
Advantage Vidarbha will also host a business conclave and technical sessions focusing on emerging trends, challenges and opportunities across industries. Over 25 sessions will be conducted with 225 expert speakers and around 5,500 delegates. The event will provide a strong platform for B2B and B2G collaborations through multiple bilateral trade meetings.
The inaugural session will be attended by Jeet Adani, Director (Airports), Adani Group; Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director and CEO (Auto and Farm Sectors), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd; and Deven Parulekar, Founder of SaffronStays.
IIM Director Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Kishor Malviya, AID president Ashish Kale, Prof Anil Sole, Jaiprakash Gupta, Prashant Mohta, Shyam Mundhada, Bipin Agrawal, Bhavesh Shah, Rajesh Rokde, Dr Vijaykumar Sharma, Ajay Kapoor and others were present.
