The Traffic Police have announced a temporary night-time diversion in the Sitabuldi and Cotton Market traffic division areas due to ongoing repair work on Ram Jhula. The work involves filling expansion joints and replacing bridge bearings.As per a notification issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Lohit Matani, the repairs will be carried out over four days from February 20 to February 23.
The work will be undertaken daily between 11 pm and 6 am.During this period, vehicular movement from Jaistambh Square to Mayo Hospital Square will remain closed. The restriction has been imposed to regulate traffic and prevent congestion in the area during the repair work.
