Govt of Maharashtra has announced “Maharashtra Industries Investment & Services Policy 2025” in December 2025 and subsequently, Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA) organised a session on the same, which was conducted by Joint Director of Industries, S S Muddamwar in January 2026 to guide members on the policy framework.
The GR for Package Scheme of Incentives 2025 is yet to be published by the Government and till that time existing PSI 2019 Scheme shall be in force/prevalent.
This is to inform that if a Unit (new or expansion) has completed all effective steps but not started the production before the announcement of new scheme i.e. PSI-2025 and has not filed an application with the Implementing Agency under PSI 2019, such unit can submit the application under the new scheme. However, the incentives applicable to such Eligible Unit shall be as per PSI- 2019 or new scheme, whichever is lower. For such unit, the investment made within the investment period from the date of application ONLY will be considered for Incentives.
Hence to get the benefit on the investment already made, it is advisable to the units who have completed all effective steps should file a valid application under PSI-2019 scheme as soon as possible, as GR of the new scheme is likely to be issued soon.
