Mahavir International Service Trust, Nagpur, in collaboration with Inali Foundation, Pune, and Rotary Club of Poona Downtown, is organizing a Free Prosthetic Hand Donation Camp for amputees and specially-abled individuals from Nagpur and across India. The camp will be held on 6th and 7th March 2026, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, at Mahavir International Service Trust, Near Sindhi Guru Sangat, Sadar, Nagpur.
The initiative aims to benefit 250–300 individuals, who will receive advanced electronic prosthetic hands free of cost, helping them regain independence, confidence, and dignity in their daily lives.
For over 33 years, Mahavir International Service Trust, guided by its motto “Love All, Serve All,” has been committed to uplifting underprivileged communities through impactful service initiatives.
Apart from its flagship Jaipur Foot program, its projects include LN-4 Artificial Hands, Physiotherapy Centre, Homeopathy Clinic, Pregnancy to Infancy Project (monthly Poshan Kits), distribution of Baby Kits, nutritious food support for students, and sanitary pad distribution for underprivileged women.
The prosthetic hands provided by Inali Foundation are lightweight, user-friendly, and highly functional, enabling beneficiaries to perform everyday tasks such as eating, writing, holding objects, using mobile phones, and working independently. Each participant will undergo professional assessment and customized fitting by Inali’s technical team to ensure maximum comfort and long-term usability.
Founded by Prashant Gade, Inali Foundation is a Section 8 Non-Profit organization that has distributed over 13,000 prosthetic hands across India in the past eight years, completely free of cost. The foundation also provides ongoing repairs, follow-ups, and technical support to ensure lasting impact for its beneficiaries.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to empowering persons with disabilities, restoring dignity, and creating pathways to self-reliance and livelihood. Organizers appeal to hospitals, NGOs, rehabilitation centres, social organizations, and the public to identify and refer deserving beneficiaries to ensure that as many people as possible benefit from this initiative.
