In a move to strengthen public transport connectivity and support the city’s growing educational and industrial corridors, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has introduced Route No. 212, linking Butibori MIDC to YCCE College, Wanadongri.
The new route spans 31.9 kilometers and includes 52 bus stops, covering key residential, educational, and industrial areas. A total of six buses will operate on the route at a 30-minute frequency from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, ensuring reliable transport for daily commuters.
This initiative addresses the rising demand from students, faculty members, and industrial workers traveling between Butibori MIDC and Wanadongri. It is expected to significantly ease travel for students of YCCE and nearby institutions, as well as employees working in the industrial zone.
Major stops along the route include Lokmanya Nagar Metro Station, Hingna T-Point, Pratap Nagar, Chatrapati Square, Ujjwal Nagar, and Chinchbhuwan.
By offering efficient and affordable public transport, Route No. 212 aims to reduce reliance on private vehicles, ease traffic congestion, and promote sustainable mobility in Nagpur.
With the launch of this new service, NMC continues its commitment to expanding city connectivity, supporting education and industry, and providing safe, convenient, and eco-friendly travel options for citizens.
