In a significant step towards strengthening law and order infrastructure, a new police station at Bhandewadi was inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
The initiative comes in response to Nagpur’s growing population, rapid urbanisation in peripheral areas, and the need for more efficient policing. Addressing the gathering, CM Fadnavis appealed to citizens to cooperate with the police in maintaining law and order. He emphasised that public participation is crucial in ensuring a safe and secure environment.

The newly constructed Bhandewadi Police Station is equipped with modern facilities and advanced technological systems aimed at improving policing efficiency and response time. The Chief Minister stated that the establishment of this police station will provide faster and more effective services to residents, help in crime prevention, and enhance the sense of security among citizens.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, MLA Krishna Khopde, Police Commissioner Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singhal, Deputy Commissioner of Police Niketan Kadam, and other senior officials.
Earlier, Police Commissioner Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singhal welcomed the dignitaries and provided an overview of the new police station and its facilities.
Nagpur Police reiterated their commitment to ensuring citizens’ safety, stating that the Bhandewadi Police Station will play a crucial role in strengthening the city’s law enforcement framework.
