Kartavya, starring Saif Ali Khan, is all set to make its OTT debut soon. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan promoted the film on X, backing the project produced by his wife Gauri Khan.

The film is scheduled to premiere on May 15, 2026, and will stream exclusively on Netflix for subscribers.
Cast and Crew
Alongside Saif Ali Khan in the lead role, the film features Rasika Dugal, Zakir Hussain, Sanjay Mishra, Manish Chaudhari and Saurabh Dwivedi in important roles. The film has been written and directed by Pulkit and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment.
Shah Rukh Khan Promotes the Film
Shah Rukh Khan announced the release date through his X account and wrote, “Kartavya ke iss chakravyuh mein, har faisla ek imtihaan hoga. Watch Kartavya, out 15 May, only on Netflix.”
The actor also shared the first-look poster of the film, featuring Saif Ali Khan in a police uniform standing in front of blazing flames. Bruises on his face hint at a recent confrontation, while a police vehicle can be seen in the background, adding to the intense tone of the poster.
Storyline
Kartavya explores the moral conflicts and difficult choices faced while standing up for what is right, offering a layered and introspective narrative. The project marks the second collaboration between director Pulkit and Red Chillies Entertainment after Bhakshak.
The film draws inspiration from real-life experiences rooted in India’s hinterlands while addressing themes with universal appeal. Backed by a powerful ensemble cast and led by Saif Ali Khan’s compelling performance, Kartavya aims to deliver an intense and emotionally engaging cinematic experience.
