Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana Ayushman card e-KYC will be conducted in rural areas village-wise and in urban areas ward-wise. This campaign will be implemented at the district level for a period of one month from May 18 to June 18. District Collector Kumar Ashirwad has directed the concerned implementing agencies to aim to achieve 100 percent target under this campaign.
A review meeting of the e-KYC campaign was organized today at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Auditorium in the Collectorate under the chairmanship of the District Collector. Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Vinayak Mahamuni, Additional Chief Executive Officer Kamal Kishore Phutane, District Surgeon Dr. Nivrutti Rathod, District Health Officer Dr. Rajkumar Gehlot etc. were present on the occasion.
Both the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana are being implemented together in the state. The implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is being done as per the guidelines of the National Authority. Treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year is done in any listed government or private hospital in the country. Accordingly, this campaign will be implemented in the district. Along with the administrative system, this campaign should be made successful through public participation, said the District Collector on this occasion.
Taluka Health Officers should organize village-wise Ayushman camps through all their subordinate staff. The District Magistrate directed in the meeting that the information about this camp should be disseminated to maximum citizens.
To avail the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, it is mandatory for every member of an eligible beneficiary family to have an Ayushman card and it is important to do e-KYC for the remaining beneficiaries.
District level training begins in line with the campaign being implemented in the district, training has started through the district administration. In line with this, training is being provided to ration shopkeepers, e-KYC center drivers and ASHA workers. This training will continue till May 17.
